It sounds like a very fancy term, but it&#8217;s simply a form of <a href=\"\/es\/magazine\/what-to-do-when-you-feel-your-hair-thinning\/\">hair loss<\/a>. It affects both men and women, and this particular hair loss shows up in very defined patterns. Because of this, it&#8217;s commonly referred to as &#8220;male-pattern baldness&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>You may have seen androgenetic alopecia showing up in the lack of hair on your friend&#8217;s head&#8211;or you may even be experiencing it yourself.<\/p>\n<p>The hair loss usually begins above your temples, then recedes with time. Otherwise, it thins starting at your crown, then starts to thin out on other places on your head. The good thing is, thanks to science and your own blood cells, there&#8217;s hope!<\/p>\n<p>Although there are many ways to perform hair restoration, <a href=\"\/es\/hair-restoration\/platelet-rich-plasma\/\">PRP or Platelet-rich plasma<\/a>, seems to be one of the most effective treatments. Also, there weren&#8217;t any major adverse reactions in the treatment of androgenic alopecia.<\/p>\n<p>In their study, patients were given the PRP injections over a period of 3 months. At the end of the treatments, they saw huge improvements in hair growth. The conclusion?
