Drink less beer. \u201cWhen you drink less, you eat less,\u201d said Jane Diamond, A Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist. \u201cDrinking lessens our ability for self-control. \u00a0Most men end up overeating and choosing foods that are very high in fat and calories when they are at a bar in a relaxed social environment. \u00a0Forget the wings and nachos; try appetizers that include more vegetables or food higher in protein,\u201d she advised.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-272 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/bsgsite.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/HowToShredFat-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"574\" height=\"720\" \/> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>You need to strength train:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cUsing free weights and strength training equipment loads our muscles and helps to create lean muscle mass,\u201d said Diamond. \u201cJust 3 hours per week can reduce body fat by 4%. In order to create 6-pack abs, you need to lose or lower body fat.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Cardio:<\/strong> According to <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mensfitness.com\/training\/cardio\/6-ways-lose-fat-faster\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Men\u2019s Fitness<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, weight training alone won\u2019t shed pounds. \u201cCardio is the cornerstone to any good weight-loss plan\u2014especially high-intensity interval training (HIIT), in which you alternate periods of absolute maximum effort with brief periods of recovery.\u201d You can do sprints on a treadmill, run up and down the stairs, or peddle on a stationary bike \u2013 the point is to have bursts of high-intensity exercises, followed by a short rest period. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Get Ab-Tastic:<\/strong> Strong abdominal muscles are considered to be the very core of body strength, stability and body alignment. \u201cYour abdominal muscles can protect you from lower back pain and enhance your performance of every movement whether it is normal activities or sports\/athletic performance,\u201d affirmed Diamond. However, experts have long said that belly fat can be directly correlated to diet \u2013 which means that no matter how many crunches you do, if your diet isn\u2019t on point, you\u2019ll still have that spare tire.
